Valerie is a young Trainer created by Buddy Thompson and the female protagonist of Meta Monsters II: Cosmic Aura. She is the neighbor of the male protagonist, Nathan.

Valerie's name has no origin.
Appearance[]
As the protagonist, Valerie's appearance is entirely customizable, and she possesses a range of different costumes and hairstyles in addition to skin tones and voice pitches.
As an NPC, as well as Valerie's default appearance, she appears as a young teen with purple eyes, brown spiked hair with long pigtails, freckles, pink visored goggles, a zip-up windbreaker jacket, fingerless gloves, and pants.
Personality[]
As the protagonist, Valerie's personality is mostly up to the player. Although she is assigned to catch Meta Monsters for the sake of studying, she dreams on training them in order to enter the Pintigo Regional Tournament.
As an NPC, Valerie's personality is the same as her playable counterpart. Although, she is supposed to study Meta Monsters, she'd rather train them so that she can win the Pintigo Regional Tournament.
Relationships to Other Characters[]
- Nathan: Valerie's neighbor and fellow protagonist. Valerie's father was a colleague of Vernon in the study of Meta Monsters, and is currently the assistant to Nathan's father, the Pintigo professor. The two travel together when their journey begins, and unlike Vincent and Veronica, they don't consider each other to be rivals.

- Valerie's default appearance is similar to Sara Walker from Blood Prophecy, in terms of her hair and eye color.
- Valerie returns as a playable character in the multiplayer mode of Meta Monsters III.
