The Legacy of Mr. PicidaeEdit
Peckzavier is a play on the name "Xavier". Picidae is the scientific name for a Woodpecker.
His back and wings are thin black and white stripes, and his chest is white with some diamond-shaped dots. His head is also white, with some red hair. His beak is black. He has no arms, just wings. He occasionally sports a tan fishing hat with various hooks and lures in it, despite, never mentioning or referencing fishing in the game.
Woodrow sort of sees him as a father figure, and he is shown to be loyal, trustworthy, moral, and wise. Other characters (including the player) can find him annoying, due to his constant use of the word "peck" in place of other words. He is often showed to be paranoid and somewhat of a conspiracy theorist, as shown by several pieces of dialogue, as well as some conspiracy devices in hishouse, as well as the tin foil inside of his hat.
Relationships to Other CharactersEdit
- Woodrow: As Mr. Picidae is the one who found him as an "infant", Woodrow looks to him as a father figure, and often goes to him for insight or wisdom.
- Otto: It is implied that they have been neighbors for a long time and that they trust and respect each other.
Being a woodpecker, he can fly and peck through wood panels. He is also very good at finding Caterpillars, and can almost be used as a caterpillar detector, based on his animations.
