TriviaEdit

  • Marrowale is the seventy-second Meta Monster in the Encyclopedia.

OriginEdit

Marrowale is based on a Bake-kujira, a ghostly whale skeleton from Western Japan.

  • From the Wikipedia article: In one story a fisherman tries to catch it with his harpoon but the harpoon sailed right through it and the Bake-kujira floated away. In other stories people say that the Bake-kujira brings a curse and general misfortune to the area where it is spotted.

Name OriginEdit

Marrowale is a combination of "marrow" (referring to bone marrow) and "whale".
